We invite you to submit an Abstract for presentation at the 2026 SAUA congress. If accepted you will be expected to present an oral 5 min presentation (4 min presentation, 1 min questions) in either a plenary or oral poster session. Posters will be digital, not printed. Video presentations are also encouraged.

The final decision rests with the Scientific Committee.

Guidelines for oral presentations are 5-6 slides only:

• Title and disclosures
• Background & Research question
• Methods
• Finding / results
• Conclusion / take home

Topics which will be covered in the scientific programme include:

• Renal Stones: endourology focus surgical management
• Prostate Cancer: Brachytherapy, Robot assisted surgery, focal therapy, perineal fusion -biopsy and management of advanced disease
• BPE: Medical management and laser prostatectomy
• Urogynaecology: medical and surgical management of incontinence
• Paediatric Urology Update
• Reconstruction: penile prosthesis and artificial sphicters and male slings
• Andrology: Testosterone and medical management of erectile dysfunction
• Practice management and ethics lectures
• Novel urologic oncology therapies
• AI in imaging, pathology, education and personalized medicine
• Technology and Innovation

You may however submit an abstract with topic of your choice.

As this is an in-person event, only registered delegates will be considered for an oral presentation. Please register via the website: https://sauacongress.co.za/registration/ prior to submitting an abstract.
